I have a problem with the god damn cs source game..
I have done (tried) exactly what the readme file said..
I have the repack by ad0o..

What do i need ? do i need the annon-hl2 ?i get error 108 local steam service not running !!

Ok, my problem is that it still whines about "unable to set mode". Ok so i've tried the dxdiag fix, no luck.

I remember reading about some config fix, settings some values from 1 to 0 what was that?

wolf go into your registry and delete the folder called SOURCE that is in a the valve folder

just use ctrl + f and search for source
delete the folder and it will work

the source you have might be stripped without steam. they usually deactivate these online features for the protection of the users. more than this i can't say
