go to my computer properties / hardware / device manager and check if there is an ! or ? at dvd/cdrom.
right click and enable.
maybe that will help.?

try right clicking on something and then press scan for hardware changes?

try my steps but with the program uninstalled.
or tryin reinstalling it on 2 ways, first with program installed or uninstall en the install again?
