 |
I started having annoying problem few days ago. After like half an hour, i get the application error that Generic Host process for Win32 services made something bad etc. and the standard report sending dialog window. Now the event viewer says this:
Faulting application svchost.exe, version 5.1.2600.2180, faulting module netapi32.dll, version 5.1.2600.2180, fault address 0x0000a3c0.
After getting rid of the message, my internet connection stops working (i guess its cuz of that netapi32.dll file which it messes around with) and i have to restart the PC. It doesnt take any system resources like 100% Cpu and stuff. I tried switching to ethernet modem but its the same.
The bad thing is that it does it even after reinstalling WinXP (SP2) without any additional software. Thought it might have been some trojan/hijacker shit, tried lots of software for this stuff but nothing was revieled.
Anyone knows what it could be? Any help is appritiated.
Posting my rig in case its got something to do with it:
nForce3
AMD A64 3500+
2GB RAM
X800XTPE
Audigy2
WinXp SP2
USB ZyXel modem.

check your motherboard for bursted or broken condensers.
Also do all windows updates exept the notify geniune crap.
When i was fixing a laptop, svchost was also doing bullshit untill i fully updated windows.
