the 4400 isn't bad but i don't think you can really get into it if you haven't see the previous 2 seasons (plus it always feels kind of cheap ).
other than that i'm having the same problem as you. I even started watching anime on youtube (full metal alchemist isn't bad Smile)

Supernatural had its moments.
Its like ->Buffy meets the OC-> meets X-files-> meets the Waltons Shocked

i like to recommend Weeds (the show Wink ) and "My Name is Earl" of course, because it's the closest thing to Lost...

I liked the "Pasadena" tv series back from 2001, very dark and intriguing drama. Very well made, thou underrated.

The Wire, Oz, Homicide: Life on the street... and practically anything HBO has ever done.

These shows aren't exactly "on" at the moment, but the scripts behind them aren't written on cheap napkins like they did on 24. We're talking a completely different quality here. The DVDs are expensive, but well worth it.

oh no...you like csi?

I dont see the appeal. I used to watch it all the time with my exwife and man...its so cheesy and hoaky.

Like, they find a micro fiber embedded in a pubic hair of a dead hooker, that they found in a landfill and who's been dead for 2 years. They establish she has dog hair on her and 'trace' down the source of the dog hair and present it and the pubes as evidence...then the suspect cracks and confesses everything because he cant take anymore of that one guy's chessy catch phrases...

I know im being a bit dramatic, but I just think the show is silly. Forensic ppl dont arrest ppl either nor do they do interrogation's and shit like that.

Which CSI do you watch? The New York one isnt that bad...but the other 2 are...I cant stand the actors or the plots of the shows, to unreal.
