|
 |
Hi guys.
I own a Dell XPS M1710 gaming notebook and i have the "speed" problem with random games. Games running at hyperspeed due to the fact that notebooks switch cpu speeds all the time, and the fact that its dualcore.
Had the problem with (among others) Madden NFL 06, but not with the new 07 version.
Resorvoir dogs has the same issue - ive tried setting the cpu speed at just 25% in "notebook hardware control", but the game still runs a bit too fast, and insanely choppy. Ive also tried to lock the cpu speed at 1ghz with same crappy result.
Anyone have a fix for either this game, or a more permanent solution?
Thanks.

I had also speed problems with up to date cpu...
was fixed after this:
start=>run=> enter:dxdiag => than go to sound tab => than turn acceleration level to NO ACCELERACTION
it should work now..

just disable EAX in game config option & no slowdowns, who ever designed that EAX crap should burn,it only creates problems,in BGE & Kink Kong i had to disable it just to start the game
btw EAX won't work if u disable sound accel
