what OP means is media recognition on the hitachi's
If you a pioneer and use verbs then 100% no problems,
if you use Nec and other media brands you start having problems such as what may work for hitachi may not work for Samsungs.
There has just recently been a media patch addon firmware with has had some success in better compatability for the hitach's.
