Did it change your views about certain countries, people, religions and you are now more open and understanding? Did you notice any difference between your friends who use internet and forums and those who use it for work only and have no interest in it afterwards? So did it have a big impact on your personality and development as a person?

The internet showed me how people believe to lies people are telling them just because someone told them to believe these things.
It showed me how the human mind is manupilitable easily.
It showed me how alot of people in the world tend to be agressive and have some serious psycological problems.
But it also showed me how some people (not many), are sane.

And it almost made my English quite alot better Very Happy
And i learned lots of things from it and it proven itself as a usefull tool for lots of things - Communication,Money, Knowledge and fun Very Happy

I like the internet.

Ok then it made you see those flaws in others. Did it make you less susceptible to propaganda and manipulation by others and your own government then?

I dont know about the internet changing my views.

The reasons I come to places like Nforce is for diversity in opinion and diversity in nationalities.

I cant say I know anyone from denmark or norway or sweden or other various parts of europe. I like being able to communicate with various types of people all around world.

And I think discussion on the internet is more frank. Alot of ppl are reserved and dont speak up in a crowd. On a board like this, everyone has their own voice and can make their opinion heard. I think alot more ppl are honest in the way they feel about things and describe things.

And really, we have some good debates in the world news section sometimes. Whether or not you agree with whatever, the debates are good when its kept on a somewhat mature level. Where else would you find arabs, israeli's, rights, lefts, liberals, conservative etc all debating in a very frank way?

That is funny.

I won't talk about what the internet taught me. It is quite boring.

I've learned there are some truly helpful people out there. In some of the technical forumsi hang out in some people really try to help noobs and i like seeing that. Some people just say 'use google' or something to that effect. Sometimes you see people stick with it until the end. I've learned that some people are wound up even tighter than i am. How can you get in a flame war with someone you'll probably never see? If someone expresses an opinion different to yours in a less than mature way why argue with a child? i don't get it it. Let it go. i do like it here because there are a lot of people from different countries and as i read the posts i see people are the same everywhere. We play games, we do stuff we probably shouldn't, but i see people just want to enjoy life and communicate with like-minded people.
