Well I'm in the beta, but I didn't play for long. It's basicly Lineage 2 with small improvements. That's it. (Sucks with other words.)

Well after downloading it, setting up an account, installing it, writing my name and address in TWICE, patching it up and loading the actual game. It won't log onto the account server, just says waiting for a response. Sigh.

i got the beta played it for about 30 minutes havent uninstalled it yet. definitly nothing special and the classes are bs. graphics are worse then wow, and everquest 2 bout on par with rose online graphics.

It is okay, but then i tried Lineage 2 Chronicle 5 (long time beta & post-beta player, gave up cuz it took too much time).
And wow, cant believe how much that game has evolved both in asthetics, world size, and anti-boredom 
Archlord feels like a Lineage ripoff gameplaywise, it just feels so similar, but still different in its own way, but i didnt really like it. Tiny world, not a very nice design on the world or other stuff, nah, L2 i'm back =D

yup, my friend told me to try it which I did, and ... after killing 3 green gigantic ugly worms, i can say that the game is shit. graphics are shits, gameplay is shit, and the overall presentation of it is shit.

Im beta testing it and have gotten to level 20, so here is my review (Be aware, AL has 100 levels so 20 is nothing)
Graphics 6/10
Nothing to be impressed about, not piss-poor like screenshots indicate but nothing special, all in all typical asian mmorpg.
Sound 5/10
Sound is ok'ish but I can't give it a high score for 2 reasons, 1 is that it's music stole from Braveheart movie and 2, while Braveheart music is fine it don't fit in and it's not adjusted to what your doing but just replay's
The hack'n'slash sounds are dull but there.
Quests: Go Here, do this, Go there, kill that, Go back, Rinse Repeat, new quests each level, ok rewards.
Quests aint bad, they don't require or even want you to read them, only challange is translating it, since right now it's korean to english so the names of the places you gotta visit don't fit anymore.
Still Blabla Basin while it aint on the map you can figure out it's the other BluBlu basin you gotta visit.
Gameplay 5/10
Well if you have played one asian grindfest mmo you have played them all, but let me give you a summary
3 races, each race has 2-3 classes, no healers
If you have friends you wanna play with, gotta stay same race and thus only have 3 classes to pick from, if you don't you can't meet up until level 30-40 since the starting area's only have quests/trainers for your race.
No healers = potdrink festival, which in turn means pvp will mean Pot vs Pot, who has the most wins.
The exp is slooow to gain, but not as bad as some mmorpg's I have tried, BUT taking into consideration it gets harder to level the higher you get and that there is 100 levels.......
Skills are extremely limited, I think at level 100 you have maybe 10 differnt ones, but at different grades (level 1-2-3-4-5-6-7 and so on skill)
You get 1 skillpoint pr level, so it's a pick and chose, but not much to chose from.
3 tradeskills, all 99% useless and with almost no explanations or help (ok it's beta)
Weapons/armor divided into level groups, 1-11-15-26 for weapons, 1-15-something for armor, meaning they only gotta make a few sets, pr level.
Divided into Normal, Rare, Unique and super-ultra-dragon-rare Elite.
AH, good function, can put for sale anywhere, can choose when to collect money (so wont loose in pvp), can only be bought from in towns.
The mobs ??.......well not much variance.
Spider -> Rock Spider -> Big Spider -> Black Spider -> Big Black Spider and so on, same with Goblins and all, but not 100% bad either, still more than many asian mmo's
The pvp ??
Well pvp is free outside towns, so a level 100 can decide to kill a level 1, he will get a villain point and with enough of those he is at a disadvantage in many things.......but we all know pk'ers that go to level xx and then just grief's lowlvls, never needing to go to town/xp and so on, it's one big fucktard paradise.
Real pvp
Well if you are both equal level it will be Pot vs Pot as stated earlier, sure you can outdamage pots if you get lucky 10 times in a row or your opponent sucks......
Partying
Well partying has 1 point, it enables Autolooting, so insted of having to click spacebar to loot 10 times pr kill, it will do it automatically.
Everyone groups after level 15 or so, but just for autoloot and nothing else.
Which brings me to AutoPotion.
Yup, you can put health/mana to a autopotion which means that if you team up with someone you can almost play without thinking.
Autoloot/autopotion, so all you gotta do is select target, hit attack, wait, rinse, repeat.
No thinking, no skill, no nothing required.
And even though it's forbidden, with a free mouse-moving program you can macro the entire thing if you want, or hey just have something hit TAB/F3 all the time (target/attack)
Costs : 3/10
Now there are 3 forms of MMO's these days cost wise.
Normal WoW'ish, you buy the game, buy expansions, pay monthly fee's
Guild Wars - You buy the game, Buy expansions, no monthly fee's, based on buying expansions every 6 month's
Asien MMO's - You buy or download the game, pay nothing monthly but the quality is a lot less, they depend on people buying ingame items for Rl money to sustain them.
This one is an Asian MMO, with items you can buy ingame (+100 xp, special chest unlocking keys, bonuses to bla and bla and so on) BUT it will also cost money to buy, cost money to play each month and the expansions will also cost.
So it has ALL the costs, but none of the benefits.
All in all
5/10
Hey it was a way to waste a few hours and it was free.
Release ??, no chance that I will pay for a game, pay for monthly fee, have to buy ingame items to be viable and then have it all for crap graphic, crap quests and crap gameplay.

I play the Beta, But im really dissapointed. I do not like the gameplay. The grafix are horrible. Its not inviting and it misses a nice ambiance to play in. They tried but they failed. The only game i think that could be a WoW Killer is warhammeronline. All the rest who try just fail.
