After a heated discussion withpistolshrimp I finally want to find the answer in an open nforce poll.

So do elephant and thanks rhyme ? Like in a poem. Wink

I think they do - even not very good.

They sound nothing like each other so they can't possibly rhyme since rhyming is when words sound the same, is it not?

If you said ele-fants instead of ele-funts I guess it kinda rhymes. fants ... thanks. you have the 'a' sound and they both end with the 's'. I guess if english wasnt your native language I can sort of see where you might think they sound like they rhyme. However if you pronounce elephants like ele-funts like most people do, then they do not rhyme or even sound like they rhyme at all. Does that make sense? lol.

elephunts ?? - sounds strange ... yes i was going for the 'a' sound. And youre also right as german is my native language Wink Damn that guy has some pretty good analytical skills.

Elephunts - i guess i learned something today. The english speakers dont care about the letters they use Wink an a is an a and not an u ! How should i ever grasp this ?!?

and @pistolshrimp
stop influencing the poll with your womenly charms Wink

btw, i think its a great example for what ive said earlier - i think everytime you hear the word "elephants" now you will think about the impression i made on you Wink

If you mouth elephant shoe to someone it makes them think you said I love you! It’s pwn! You can “flirt” with a lot of insecure boys like that and it’s funny! You just wink afterwards and they’re like… OMG! Laughing

On top! Ic!

It all depends how you say it. I heard people pronounce certain words with such a thick accent they could’ve rhymed home with thunder! It’s true! No lie!

That reminded me of something we did at school all of 10 years ago now lol

We would say to someone 'say what if you are gay' but you say it so fast that they cant quite understand what you said, they say what? And then you laugh immaturely and call them gay lol
