In school teaching my classmates how to put a camera on a tripod. Spend the rest of the day in the cafeteria watching news.

getting home from school. And for no reason, when i turned on the tv, i entered the cnn channel number on my remote.
like 5 seconds later the 2nd plane hit the tower.
followed the news for the next 5-10 hours to see it develop.
edit: i know i felt my heart beating like, WTF JUST HAPPEND

My friend had an uncle working in WTC. Kept calling and calling, Got an answer the next day though, he was very relieved.

Our cafeteria at my college had a TV sort of out in this big room, and people walk past it all the time to get to a hallway where a bunch of classrooms are. I was just leaving the cafeteria and there was a big huddle of students around the TV, I asked what was going on as I walked by.
They told me planes were hitting the World Trade Center, and I didn't even know what to think at first.. to be honest, I didn't even really grasp what they said and I kept on walking like it was nothing.

my mom called me from europe and said that USA is getting attacked and we should be careful ... (i am in los angeles) ... I've spent a whole day in from of the tv in disbelief ...

I was out to my weekly Golf Trainning, when our coach got out to us again after getting some coffee in the club house. Told us that the WTC had been hit by a plane, and alot of us didnt really know what to think or do :S
Continued to trainning, got home and watched the news 2-4 hours.

Was in my Car on the way to Uni. Got to school and every class just had there TVS tuned to the news. I still remeber the erie feeling of that day.

I remember the first attack on the world trade center. The bomb in van in the underground parking.
At home. My sister woke me us saying we (not really because I am in Canada) were under attack, they hit the pentagon. I was like WTF. I watched it on CNN. Saw the other plane hit the second tower as it happened. My ex was driving to work and thought it was a joke. Until he realized it was on everystation.
My house is directly above a air traffic route. All the planes in air weren't allowed to land in the US. I have never seen so many planes in the sky. I saw one plane surrounded by some kind of fighter jets. Later I found from the news that the pilot from China didn't understand his instructions. Kinda a weird feeling seeing all those planes flying over your house when you know they were being hi-jacked and used as weapons.

after breakfast, heared the new in the radio, then turned on my tv... 20 min. after, the second plane hit the tower.
strangest day in my life ever!!! everyone was like paralyzed...
it was the same day, i've got the duty to renounce to the military service in my country. (last day i could do it...)

Was in an economics class. The teacher came in and yelled "the towel heads are at it, the towel heads are at it". Was WTFing. Then he explained but then quickly got onto teaching us about guns/butter ratios.
Got home, my dog got back from the vets after a heavy op, so I was all :-> I also got my first TV out graphics card so was :-> But then switched on the tele and was like whoa.

haha, I was at court. I was in the middle of a bail hearing (well, it just ended, I got bail) and all of a sudden an alarm went off and everyone had to be evactued and shit.
It was pretty good, all I got was probation 
Went home and watched tv the whole day.
I thought World War 3 was starting, to be honest.
It still surprises me that all these radical muslim terrorist groups/states dont band together and take on the west. Im not sure if they would win but they would do serious damage.
I thought Bin Laden as trying to do that...seems he failed in some ways and accomplished his goal in other ways.
