Which settings do I need in Alcohol to copy a SecuROM game and make it playable with SecuROM loader (the game is Broken Sword 4, if that matters)?

You can only burn Securom Protected CDs. Broken Sword is on DVD so if you want to burn it you should burn .mds and .mdf files as data. Then just mount .mds on your DVD with DT4 and use Securom Loader 1.2

I appreciate your effort, but you didn't help me a bit. I intend to make an image and use Securom loader (just read my post), but I never made a SecuROM image by myself. I aksed for the proper Alcohol settings to make a working image.
Do I need DPM?
Should I enable "ignore errors"?
Do I need the Sub-Shannel Data?

read speed max , dpm speed 1x , sub-channel data (data precision high ), don`t split image if its a DVD ,
anyway don`t recomend making dpm with alcohol becoz it to much noise dependant and can measure it wrong , so use Blindwrite BWA Builder to make a BWA file and the change it to a mds , the only replace it with the one that made alcohol for a perfect clone

Thanks. I already found a solution on an other site.
I read that it's better to use a high DPM speed for DVDs and a low for CDs (not precision, speed!). Would you agree on that?
I followed that instructions and made a image with DPM high, max speed. It works right now, but could it happen that a patch (which may update the protection as well) recognizes the "bad" DPM data?

FALSE , Securom (needs sub-channel data)/Starforce don`t need data to make the game work only DPM thats why , read spead max / Dpm 1x , but Safedisk or other protections need Low speed for data becoz the protection reads the data sectors , its not media dependat cd or dvd read data speed its protection dependant . So saying that the reading speed on cd must be low and on DVD must be high is Wrong becoz its depends on the protection .

thats why i said to use Bwa builder to make a BWA file and then change it to mds , Bwa builder makes the perfect DPM measurments to make flawles clones , Scene clone groups finaly understood that and thats why the new Securom 7 (and lets hope other clones) are in Blindwrite format .So in the future it could be played with the newest patches , with no worries that it wouldn`t work.
