I reinstalled Most Wanted, figuring I'd enjoy it more on my new gfx card (yay bye bye 5200! ) but now the game doesn't work :/ I click the exe, splash screen loads, monitor res changes and I stare at a blank screen for 10 seconds or so then poof, I'm back to desktop.
I've tried:
Running original game
Running patched game
Reinstalling game
Using no-dvd
Using clone
Using mini image
Using sd4hider
System is a
Sempron 2200
1gb ram
radeon x1600 pro w/ v6.9 cats (omega version) oc'd to 600/400
The EA support site was less than helpful, though it suggested my install might be bad? My install folder size is about 2.8gb, does that sound right? Gonna try running it non-oc'd now, but any suggestions here would be appreciated.
well, there's no way i was going to mess with my drivers just for one game, but I took your advice on the DX install, and ran the DX that came with MW. Also, out of interest sake I removed the ea startup videos. I can now play so thanks for that tip
