It always gives me the "emulation conflict" error. I use Daemon-Tools 4.08 with the latest SPTD 1.38 and YASU 1.03. I mount the image and hide the device with YASU just like the nfo says, but the game just responds with that error.

Mounting in Alcohol doesn't help either. Any ideas?

Could you check your SPDT driver version? (Daemon-Tools/Help/about)

Maybe it detects some other emulation soft, not D-Tools one?

FOUND IT:

I had BlindWrite EZ-Play enabled. I disabled it and the game finally runs.

Thanks for your effort.

It also works if I turn on EZ-Play and check the "Hide EZ-Play" option. It was activated without that option until now.

BTW: I still have IDE.
