I got a 19" LCD monitor for my 360 and PC. It worked pretty awesome but I found a strange problem. Whenever I use it for more than an hour my eyes started hurting and I got frequent headaches. This never happened with the 5 year old CRT I had earlier. I did some search on Google and it seems some people have that reaction to floroscent lights. Anyway I decided to go back to the CRT for my PC.
Also I want to enjoy my 360 sitting on my couch not so up close with my monitor. I am thinking of getting an LCD HD TV, which I am hoping will not give me the same headache because I will be sitting away from it. My budget is limited so I am thinking 23 or 27 inches. 27 is 200 dollars more than a 23 so is it worth just for 4 inches of display??Some recommendations appreciated.

wow , I tried the 360 on my 27" Standard Def TV and it looked ugly as hell. I was playing TDU and I couldnt see shit on the map or read any text on the screen. I think I will just connect it to my 19" CRT for now, since LCD seems to be out of the question. We have a Viewsonic 32" LCD HDTV at my office and I had the same problem with burning eyes and headache!!!

Yeah, most games look ugly as hell in standard definition. Which is a shame, considering many people will probably play their 360's on normal TV's and never realise the difference HD can make.

Best way to find out is probably to go down to a local tv retail-shop. Make sure you're well-rested, feeling well and havent watched any screens in an hour or so before you go down. Check the different tv's out and if you do get headaches maybe you can pinpoint what it is.

I would sure love to get my hands on those 24" Sony, but its so damn heavy shipping costs like 100-150 USD, which plain sucks. We have a 21" IBM P260 at work, who has dual inputs(DVI/VGA) which can be switched from a switch on the front. I could connect my pc through the DVI and the 360 using the VGA. I will just have to convince my boss to allow me to take it and put my 19" instead!!!
