Entertaining to read at imdb people who claim a character doesnt look right..im pretty sure Pratchett checked the chars before he let them use them as he was on the set anyway.

Yes, but as anyone who reads a lot of books knows. We imagine the chars the way we want them to look, or indeed the way we would create them ourselves.

So despite the fact Pratchett was on set is immaterial, He saw the chars the way he imagines them to look in real life, Now you or me upon reading the book may imagine them totally differently.. Even though they are described very well in his books.

The imagination is a wonderful thing Razz

Actually bought one of the books for a long flight...ages ago, I think i never finished it (me, shit scared of flying, been doing it to much). Anyho, this production is just awesome. I think it don't matter if you read the books or not. A perfect English Xmas "feeling" fantasy carol, bloody perfect! Smile

Took me a min or 2 to figure who is playing "Mr.Tea Time", its Marc Warren, i remember him as the shit scared soldier from Band of Brothers. He does a brilliant part in Hogfather.
