Well could be a few things:

1/try 'pointing' winrar to the *.rar file of the archive or the *.001 file .. not the one you specified.

2/grab the par/par2 files and thoroughly check the entire archive for errors.

3/ you could have fake i suppose.. but i reckon its one of the above.. Rar archives dont start with the *.r01 file.. the header is usually the rar file.

Cant be ripped by simple methods.Extracted all cab files, there are other language files but even if you delete these the file size is >5gb.
So the simple method is writing this at 2 dvds.Second dvd will have the data4,5 cabs only.
For me this works (and i am sure for anyone trying this)

That's what I was also thinking of doing if it can't be ripped. I would probably burn it on a DVD9 (even though two DVD5 are cheaper) but my new burner is broken and currently back on it's way to the dealer so I only have access to a DVD5 burner at the moment.

Just Cause (DVD9 to 2 DVD5)

1) Create 2 Temp folders on your hardrive.
Name these folders CD1 and CD2.

CD1:
2) Copy all the contents of the Just Cause DVD9, except for the Data4.cab and Data5.cab files, to the CD1 folder.

CD2:
3) Copy the following files to the CD2 folder:

binkw32.dll
data4.cab
data5.cab
d3dx9_26.dll
engine32.cab
JCSetup.exe
JustCause.exe
layout.bin
pc_file_order.log
readme_en.rtf
readme_fr.rtf
readme_ge.rtf
readme_it.rtf
readme_sp.rtf
settings.txt
setup.ibt
setup.ini
setup.inx

4) Create another folder/s for any Updates, Serial, Patches and or Cracks etc. (Create these folders in the CD2 folder.)
NOTE: Name this/these folder/s whatever you want.

5) Burn the contents of the CD1 folder to a DVD5 with the Label: JustCause
6) Burn the contents of the CD2 folder to a DVD5 with the Label: JustCause

Note: When installing you will be prompted to insert Disc 3 that contains the file data4.cab. The installation will continue successfully.
And yes it will prompt for Disc 3 NOT Disc 2.

Also, there is no possibility of fitting this game onto just one DVD5 disc!
Removing all the extra language files etc will only remove about 1GB of data, still not enough to fit onto one disc. Unless I missed something?

The best way is to burn the RLD/ITW rars on two DVDRW disks and then compile a custom installation with Innosetup with ripped languages and burn that too to DVDRW. And wait till your DVD burner dies and buy a new one that supports DVD9. Then erase those DVDRW's.

Am I the only one having problems starting Just Cause? I've got the -RLD crack, and the game starts up as normal. However, the game only loads for about ten seconds, then immediately quits to windows. I've got the latest drivers for my graphics card, and the latest directX version. Does anyone know a sulution to my problem?

the thing is, the same problem happened with the demo, and using the clone. It seems as Just Cause doesn't like my system Smile But I'll try the mini image, txh!

nope, it didn't work with the mini image either.. The problem, as i see it, is not cracking the game, since it starts properly, but something with the game itself. No one experiencing this problem?
