I have in my hands flight sim x deluxe, full retail, bought it from "local big yellow boxed retailer"
12.9GB installed size on hard drive
THATS A MASSIVE GAME!!!

12.9? Wooaa....thats massive aye. But what is it that takes so much space? Is it the world? Cos the demo was fun, but its not really THAT impressive graphic wise. Anyway, hopefully we will see this one cracked today. (silly price on it btw)

$59.99 deluxe version
lets just say i got it on employee price of $58.78
ok you see my system in my sig, everything maxed out on default resolution, its very sluggish
i also installed it on a dual processor, dual core (basically quad core), 200gbx2 raid 0, single 7900 gt, 4gb ram
very playable maxed out at 1280x1024, i would have to guess 35ish FPS

Thats pretty much the same computer as I've got. I had no problems with the final demo - but I guess there might be a difference in the full version.

my idea of chocolate smooth frames is pretty high, for my system
don't get me wrong it still played great, but not up to my standards
i guess its time for a new video card

It's a simulator, not a game.
Just think about it, the whole world is in it. thousands of airports, routes, objects, sounds, textures, effects +++
2 DVD's
Will buy it instead of downloading this one to support the sim, i would love to see more of them in the future
