I never thought he was funny. Borat was a high budget Americas Funniest Homevideos and the gay movie thing was that on speed. Ali G was pretty good, though.

He didn't take himself seriously in Ali G, everything about it was ridiculous, making it good. With his movie, he seems to think he's a serious actor now (let's be honest, he's not). So I don't know how it'll turn out.

I loved Borat. Bruno was meh. I honestly couldn't deal with the gay in that movie. I can 'deal' with gay, but i'm not going to watch some dude meat-spin for 5 minutes unless you force me to. Turned off the movie the minute I had to start watch cock flying around the screen.
