Was just sitting here playing a sega emulator and thinking of how bad ass games used to be. Mabye a good company should start remaking some older games? So what do you guys like to see remade (and not done shit like). For me:

Mutan League series, Comix Zone, Boogerman, mabye bubsy, another contra since it was only PS2 lastly, Battletoads, Golden Axe could prove to be a good release if done right. If ya dont think they should be release, at least which ones did you love playing?

I rather liked Conflict for the NES. Super Conflict sucked. I think the game was one of a handful of thinking games for the whole damn system. Everything else was a twitch fest. Very Happy

hmm, I rather much like that idea alot. Could do that with alot of games then since their smallers size, put multiple games on a disk? Playing vectorman with updated gfx and what not would be bad ass.

Syndicate

I've always wondered why there weren't any more Syndicate games made. Syndicate Wars was ... horrible, but the original was so beautifull that it should probably become another popular game if they only remade the original with updated graphics, minor gameplay changes and better sound.

Okay, enough ranting about Syndicate.

I was thinking about this topic since yesterday, and Dungeon Keeper is the first title that comes to my mind. What a creative and original game that is. I see how easly ''they" could mess up the remake. Im re-installing it as soon as i get from work.

I always wanted to see a remake of Out of this World, but somebody did that recently. Flashback remake would be nice. Imperum Galactica, 1nsane racing, Big Red Racing, Carmageddon, Descent, Interstate 76/82, MDK, Midtown Madness, ONI, Populous, Shogo, Worms (2d), X-wing/Tie-Fighter, I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream, Magic Carpet, Mechwarrior 3 and Startopia are the titles that could use updates/sequel/remake.

Also there are many console games thay i would love to see remade, mainly shmups (darius, gradius, r-type etc.)

my dream will come true if they make/convert Mortal Kombat... for PC, But it's only a dream. The greedy MIDWAY bastards will never do this.. and it will be so nice to have Armaggedon on PC, with the "kreate a kombatant" and online modes.... Sad

MK never sold well on pc so they stopped porting it to PC after MK4. they arent greedy, just smart since theres no point in making a version that wont sell.

Remakes always suck, you can't remake old 2d games with new 3d graphics, it will always be a completely new game.
You know what a good remake is? Conker for the xbox! Its completely the same game, but with up-to-date graphics. Thats what I call a *real* remake. I'd like to see rare do the same with Perfect Dark and Goldeneye.

In July 2004, the Redneck Rampage license was purchased by Vivendi Universal for $300,000 dollars. However VU Games representative said that at the moment there are no intentions of making a new game in the Redneck Rampage series.

Tough luck then Razz

Other way around dude.

Sierra exists only in name only. Vivendi bought them out ages ago and fired pretty much everyone.
