Story
.............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................. | Quote: | | Heroes is a serial saga about people all over the world discovering that they have superpowers and trying to deal with how this change affects their lives. The relatable superheroes include Peter Petrelli, a 30-year-old male nurse who believes can fly, Diego Medina, a 28-year-old junkie who has the ability to paint images of the future when he is high, Niki Sanders, a 33-year-old Las Vegas showgirl who can do incredible things with mirrors, Hiro Makamura, a 24-year-old Japanese comic-book geek who literally makes time stand still, D.L. Hawkins, a 31-year-old inmate who can transport himself through walls, Matt Parkman, a beat cop who can hears other people's thoughts, and Claire Bennet, 17-year-old cheerleader who defies death at every turn. Not only are they discovering what having superpowers means to them but also the larger picture of where their superpowers come from. Eventually their superpowers draw them together when they try to evade the series' antagonist who wants to harness their super-DNA for himself. Their ultimate destiny is nothing less than saving the world. |

| Spoiler: | Outside a bizarre, gruesome crime scene, Los Angeles beat cop Matt Parkman (Greg Grunberg) is the only one who can hear the cries of a missing little girl. Claire (Hayden Panettiere) almost reveals her secret ability to the entire school after learning that her injury attempt tape has disappeared.
Thinking she's going crazy, Niki (Ali Larter) loses another block of time after waking to find some brutally murdered thugs in her garage, only to be confronted by Social Services about son Micah (Noah Gray-Cabey).
While office drone Hiro (Masi Oka) investigates New York, Nathan (Adrian Pasdar) confronts Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) following his plunge off a building. |

It's even better
Just after first episode i fell sooo addicted to it. It looks like that Heroes can beat Lost 
There will be only 13 eps of it and I hope that the producers won't stretch this show like they did with Lost. If not it would be a really good action packed show - i'm talking about the painting of the atomic bomb explosion in NY that Diego painted and if you still don't know what i'm a talking about I will tell u that has the ability to paint images of the future

I get hooked to this show thx to youtube I fooling around there a week ago and I saw some clip named "Heroes" and after that I couldn't wait to see the first ep
If I haven't seen the trailer before I would probably skip it :>

I just watched the first episode, it was really good! I can't wait to see what happens in the seccond..
| Spoiler: | the fact that the nurse guy doesnt seem to be the one who can fly, yet he is in the picture above.. seems to indicate that he is still a big player in the show.. and more to the point.. that he also has some kind of power.. *fingers crossed*.. I liked that guy! Great ending to the first epp though! |

Same. I wasn't that impressed, but i'm not going to dismiss it after just one episode.
The girl who can regenerate, does she not feel pain either, or is she just a masochist? That was some badass waste disposal they had in their house, they usually only cut your hands a bit but hers was completely mangled.
