What do you think of the Geforce 6600 Gt?? It has 9000 points in 3dmark2003. I think the card will be quite good and i am aiming at the 256 mb version. I dont have the money for a 6800 Gt so i will buy the 6600 Gt (the 6600 Gt has 8 pipelines and is 256 bit). I think that card is good and you???????? i5-2500k @ 3.30 GHz 8 Gb Ram DDR3 @ 1600 Mhz Ati Radeon 7850

I think it will be a good card. It will probably beat most of the newer ATi mainstream cards in OpenGL based titles. But, as I see, you're in Europe (like me) and these cards are still unavailable here. So you have to wait and see how much they actually cost. Maybe a 6600 GT will be near a 6800 non GT, the better choice would then be the 6800. Be sure the card you buy has a 256bit memory interface. 256mb memory are not bad either but I think this is more important for a high performance card. avatar by R. K. Sloane

I have a 6800 "non GT" 128mb and I score around 8000 in 3DMark.

Weird, with a card that much newer than mine, youd figure youd get more than 900 points more than me TheDamned... I have the 9800Pro 128MB version..
