Dead Space 3

Description:

Dead Space 3 brings Isaac Clarke and merciless soldier John Carver on a journey across space to discover the source of the Necromorph outbreak. Crash-landed on the frozen planet of Tau Volantis, Isaac must comb the harsh environment for raw materials and scavenged parts. He will then put his engineering skills to the ultimate test to create and customise weapons and survival tools. The ice planet holds the key to ending the Necromorph plague forever, but first Isaac must overcome avalanches, treacherous ice-climbs, and the violent wilderness. Facing deadlier evolved enemies and the brutal elements, Isaac can choose to team up, not only for his own survival, but for that of mankind's. Play together with a friend or go it alone as Isaac Clarke using the seamless new drop in, drop out co-op functionality. Each mode offers unique story elements and gameplay.

Features:

* Team up and take down the terror together.

* Play the full campaign in online co-op or single player.

* Easy drop-in and drop-out play.

* Head planet side and experience a hostile new environment.

* Discover underworld cities and accept side missions.

* Explore the frozen terrain and search abandoned encampments.

* Uncover the past and embark on a thrilling expedition to save mankind.

* Discover the source of the Necromorph terror and fight to fend off the extinction of the human race.

Sweet! Very Happy Just me or does it look more of a GOW vibe than the second? They seem to be adding more action and less survival horror elements.

herpa derpa people are now more exited about co-op in games then the overall story line and gameplay mechanics that made the series great ... resident evil from a Alone in the dark 3 part clone evolved into a over the shoulder shooter with QTE ... and it was called Resident evil 4 , RES 5 was like 4 but with added co-op and 6 was like 5 but with added x40 times more ... shooting and qte Laughing at lest with patch you can remove all qte this game has and fix the camera ...

all i can say ... when a unique game hit the main market and its a success in sales it will we turned by the streamline stupidness of the mass into something horrid

Yes. The original wasn't really a unique game, but it was very good. It was still more leaning on the action side, but the atmosphere was very good (sound especially) and there were some nice scares (among the closet jumps). But with the second, it was already as mainstream as possible, pew pew pew piece of shit. And this is even more shallow and retarded. Laughing I guess it's perfect for deelix.

Wrong phrase, I suppose. Was just trying to be optimistic as I loved the first game. The second lost a lot the psychological edge the first had but was still somewhat enjoyable. Seems inevitable that this will happen to a successful franchise.

I have high hopes, despite what looks like a lot more cutscenes etc. I found the second game just as riveting as the first, especially the part where you go back to the Ishimura.

Dead Space 3: Dev Team Limited Edition

* Dead Space 3 Limited Edition: Includes the "First Contact" and "Witness the Truth" bundles.

* Tin Collector's Case: Measuring nearly 14"x9," this case is covered with mysteries and trivia from all three Dead Space games, debossed with full color art based on the designs from Ben Wanat (Creative Director for Dead Space 3) and Dino Ignacio (UI Designer for Dead Space 3).

* Serrano's Journal: Dr. Earl Serrano's journal full of clues and haunting artwork of his findings on Tau Volantis has come to life with exclusive content by Chuck Beaver (Story Producer on Dead Space 3).

* Art Book: A 4.75"x6.5" hardbound book containing 96 stunning full color pages, plus exclusive material from the Dead Space art department headed by Alex Muscat (Art Director for Dead Space 3).

* Flip Book "Data Pad:" A 10"x7" book with a metal cover that contains 9 image sets made with clear PET cover sheets over heavy-weight cardstock. The flip book was designed by Dino Ignacio to be a functional prop version of the Dead Space User Interface in the game.

* Marker Statue: A 8" hand-sculpted, custom-molded polyresin statue that's coated in metallic paints to replicate the maddening glyphs of the Black Marker.

* Med-Pack: The med-pack in the game has been recreated as a 14 oz. PET water bottle, perfect for carrying your beverage of choice.

* Poster Pack: A set of three 5"x10" single-sided posters replicating the nostalgic posters found throughout Dead Space 3 that depict an older age of space travel.

* Postcard Set: A set of six 3.75"x6" Peng themed postcards, double-sided with art on the front and Dead Space-branded postcard information on the back.

Bottle looks like shit, the marker is amazingly detailed (there are macro photos on the internets) though. The rest is useless garbage, defo not worth $160. Skip.

Today I didn't even need to use my AK. I gotta say it was a good day. (c) - Ice Cube
