Guy Ritchie ftw, absolutely loved Snatch & Lock Stock. Revolver was a disappointment only lifted by Mark Strong and his character.

You just didn't understand the movie. It is amazing but I got it on 3rd or 4th re-watch.

Seen it three times I sure as hell got it, but it still didnt made it a better movie. Its nice to see Ritchie try something new but he simply fails. At least in my humble opinion.

Well u should define disappointment then. The movie is great but you didn't get a third Lockstock/Snatch.

Ritchie obviously tried hard to add a layer of sophistication and twists in the storyline but fails, the film gets chocked due to that, and its sad 'cause he really had somes well ideas both with the reaction shots done in manga and stylish actions of strong and the chinese assasin.

It chokes if you put a Snatch-fan cap in the beginning. That's what I did. And literally walked out of the theatre in the middle of the movie. Now I'm a number #1 fan of it after watching a couple of times alone on DVD.

Yea Revolver, wasn't very good in my opinion either. Lock stock still ranks among my ultimate favourite films. I don't expect this to get up there. The charm of indie is vanished, but it will probably be very enjoyable Smile

My bad...again. What ever DVDrip's that are out there seems to be fakes.
I guess I will have to wait for this one then...I don't want to watch some crappy cam.

A thoroughly enjoyable film, contrived and pretentious with a few plot holes as is typical of Ritchie but much better then Revolver. 8/10
