The release date for this game just cannot come soon enough. I have both a pretty decent PC and a Xbox360. No way am I buying 2 copies of the game so I will probably purchase the 360 version and acquire the PC version by some other means. I have booked a full week of work for this game, starting on Friday 24th March which I believe is the release date! Oh yes!

BTW. Typo Very Happy

They're finally going to announce the release date within the next couple weeks. I really hope it's released by the end of March! Wishful thinking, but still. This game is probably gonna consume me like no other RPG has ever done, not even WoW.

Try Gothic 1/2 thats really consuming, and you could probably finish it in the month that it'll take for Oblivion to come out.

I kinda missed out on the first game but I played Gothic2 a lot and I could quite easily rate that up there with Morrowind as one of my favourite PC games. It had some cool music! I have the mp3 somewhere!

My one concern about the 360 version is the possibility of it requiring the hard drive and if it doesnt will the lack of a hard drive affect the game in anyway? The hard drives still arent available to buy separately! Only as part of a premium bundle Sad

Shame on you! lol
Never has a game consumed so much of my life as Morrowind and its two expansions. It is and always will be one of the best games I have ever played on any format.

So true dude. I have no idea how many hours ive spent with that game. Beat the main quest four times with different class-types, then made one omni-char that i think ive spent 200 or so hours on. Uninstalled and reinstalled the game like 10-15 times too Smile

Oblivion is gonna be the freaking bomb. Praying for a quick scene-release so i dont have to wait too long here in sweden. Oh and the only non-mmorpg-game ive bought the last two years is splinter cell chaos, oblivion will be the second one.

i dont know what headshot is smoking but im from england and i went to town with a friend at lunch time and he bought a 360 HD off the shelf. Im buying this for 360 although I own morrowind i played it a few months back and thought it was terrible, due to the terrible character models. This should be alot more fun and the HD means saving and loading runs faster which should be a nice inclusion.

Freaking love this game but its broke! I thought it was my game or console causing the crash but its actually a bug in the game! I cant believe it! I thought they would have done more playtesting on this! Geez! Sad

Edit: Woohoo! Connected to XBL when starting the game and it downloaded an update which fixed it! Very Happy

Erm true but I thought only the PC would have been patched. Whoever heard of patching console games?! Its not a common thing! Unless Im playing a multiplayer game on XBL I dont normally have my lan cable connected to my console.

Im still playing this game. I think its awesome. Maybe I play it too much. I scared myself the other day lol.

I got expelled from the mages guild in and as punishment and in order to get back into the guild I had to collect 20 dragon tongue and 20 redwort flowers. I had no idea what they looked like and still havent gotten them all yet but Ive been trying to find them all for ages. The other day I found myself looking at flowers on the way home from work in peoples gardens! lol.

Also what the hell is with the music changing when you have been spotted by an enemy only for it to be a rat or a poxy crab swimming to the shore! Geez! The music is threatening but they are hardly a threat! lol.
