Since there is a new update available soon and a lot of talk of it, which may or may not ban XBL accounts on modified consoles, I thought I would create this poll. So would you rather have the free and not to mention, more often than not early games and no access to Xbox Live or would you rather pay for your games and be able to get all the downloadable content for them as well as play multiplayer on XBL?
Im guessing, given the choice, most would sacrifice XBL and opt for the free games. I know I would since I dont bother with any multiplayer but maybe the poll results will say different ...

xbox live the duration of a game is extended for a great while
OMG, (insert game) WONT RUN AT 60FPS ON MY 6 YEAR OLD RIG!!! ITS NOT OPTIMIZED!!1one!

Yeah, I can afford the games I want to play.
Besides, they're going to integrate the update into future games anyway, so you probably won't have much choice.

Its funny. I bought my 360 back in the day to make sure i had a samsung drive (At the time when only the samsung could be modded) and was all about modding it to play burnt games. But after i got it, i signed up for live, bought about 20 games off ebay for dirt cheap (New and sealed) and i havent even thought about modding it since. And i have bought 2 games at EB for $60 bucks (Dead rising and NHL07) and i feel i got my moneys worth. Sofar im about a grand into my 360 with games and my extra controler. And to be honest, i dont regret a penny. My old xbox i bought one game for it before i modded it to play backups? Maybe its a coming of age thing, no clue. Or maybe it because im not broke anymore?
The only thing that would temp me to mod mine is if some blockbuster games get released early.

I love XBL, but i could never afford all the games I want, so i´m going for free games..

Im poor right now and I havent found a good game for XBL yet.. so free games for me. Im sure in time that will change, but not until something really gets my attention..

I am multiplayer challenged anyway, so Live is out of the question. I like to be the hero, the winner, the guy who crosses the line first, who battles his way past hoards of enemies and comes out victorious....all at the "Hold my hand or you will trip" level of difficulty!!!

I have to agree with syn. thousands of pounds worth of games or XBL, sorry but I play most of my game son my PC online, consoles plain fail at FPS's and such and if your playing an FPS online with a pad Im sorry but your a freaking mongo.
XBL is a very small sacrifice in my opinion.
And the recent from MS about hacking shows their inability to fix the FW hacks, there putting 'new glue' on new consoles, it wouldnt surprise me if the fall update doesnt do a god damn fucking thing against the firmware.
