Ok, first of all i got this from a guy named bornaries79, so credit him.
This activation workaround will have to do with date change in the bios.
First, disconnect your internet
Go into the bios and change the date year to 2099
install a fresh windows vista, whatever version you want.
dont enter a product key during installation.
Then, after windows starts up for the first time, accept the date as the year 2099.
Disable automatic update from time.windows.com
Restart computer and go back into the bios and change the date back to normal date.
Power up the computer and set windows time back to normal time.
**Do not enable time.windows.com update service, they can collect your info this way**
Reconnect your internet and you are set.
Windows may say you must activate in a certain number of minutes by running "slmgr.vbs -dlv" (without the quotes), but this will be reset every time you start the computer.
Also, turn off automatic updates as who knows if M$ already knows about this.
This will also let you download WGA programs off of microsoft.com for some odd reason...

I installed this way, tought it was working, but Activation now says 29 days... Crap! 
Can it be because of time.windows.com?! Lol, it sounds so unbelievable...

I'm pretty sure it fixes the workaround as it checks the correct date and updates the activation service without your consent
|
