i'm looking for a new media player to play my music. up until now i used QCD, but the problem with that one is, it doesnt have a library which my wife would like to have. she and myself dont really like winamp, dont ask why Very Happy
what players would you recomment? like i said, it should have a library for easy searching, thats basicly the only important thing. it doesnt need to have cd-ripping support or any of the other stuff you dont really need...

thanks in advance...

yeah, i was thinking about wmp, but its too chunky if you have it in normal mode, and when you go to mini mode the library is gone lol and im too lazy to search for a decent skin that makes it look better and smaller. what skin are you using? screenshot maybe?

VLC is the ultimate media player. It will play any audiovisual shit you throw at it whithout ever moaning about missing codecs.

I hate VLC player. God I hate that application. BSPlayer was great until they started mashing in all adwares into it... Sad

Now I am looking for an alternative thats NOT VLC!

See I liked the look of Foobar2k, but had so many issues trying to customize the damn thing that I gave up Razz! Winamp is nice and easy, plus there are some amazing skins out there. The one I use now just leaves a little tab at the top of my screen, I click that and the played pops down. Easy, clean and hidden!

I moved over too foobar yesterday, took me about 2 hours to get it looking nice, and now have found I need to re-tag all of my music so the thing can pick up the albums correctly! haha.. I guess it needs to be done anyway, I like things being setup right.. still.. lot of time to waste just to get a media player working correctly..

For some very strange reason, I have always hated winamp Razz It origins from my early days of computer-using, and i always seemed to fuck with the playlists, and i blame it on winamp Very Happy
For me, iTunes is ideal.

I liked Foobar but could never customize it. Is there an easy way? Finding plugins wasn't the easiest either...
