Quote:
This is a custom firmware that lets to have in a single flash the advantages of firmware 1.50 and 2.71 at the same time.

Homebrew can be run on both kernels, the 1.50 one and the 2.71 one, letting almost all current homebrew to work on the 1.50 kernel, and 2.71 homebrew compatible with HEN C in the 2.71 kernel.

Note: the installer writes to FLASH0. I'm not responsable of any damage of what happens, since this software is provided free and without warranty. TA-082 users cannot use this because a 1.50 bootstrap is needed to boot the system patched.

At the moment, there is only installer for 1.50, although it could be easily ported to whatever firmware with kernel access such as 2.60 and 2.71, but at the moment i prefer not to doing it to avoid TA-082 using it and bricking their psp's.

Note that this package DOES NOT contain any illegal material. The user has to provide the 1.50 and 2.71 updaters pbp's to legally generate the DXAR file used for the flashing.

Custom firmware for 2.71! Enjoy!

can anyone explain what are the advantages of this thing?

without the native umd emulation support it seems pretty useless to me.

nice stuff but il stick to 1.5 + DH 0.46 until later versions.

So what's the verdict on TA-082 PSPs? I really don't want to swap the LCD screens of my 2 PSPs just to do homebrew.

Mmm.. The new version has just been released, but unlike Dark_Alex stated he has not released an update for those people using version A.. anyone heard anything about that?

edit:
Ah, ok I was wrong..

Quote:
Current 2.71 SE-A users can easily upgrade to SE-B by following these simple instructions:

* Copy the directories seb_update from SEB_UPDATE/PSP/GAME150 to /PSP/GAME150/.
* Run it. After you press X, the update will be done in a little moment. You are now in SE-B.

edit2:

Ok the above doesn't seem to work, so im going to downgrade using the recovery menu Very Happy.. ill keep you posted..

edit3:

Ah I get it, you need to turn the console on and back on before the game150 folder is updated with the new none kxploited files show Very Happy .. Upgraded fine after moving the file over and rebooting the console.. DEVHOOKLESS ISO's BITCHES!

It's soooooo nice to be able to boot iso's directly under the 'game' folder.

Dark Alex is king!

skidrow: I don't think it matters what's on your Pro DUO while flashing. Once upgraded, it's all good.

hehe Smile

I only upgraded as I couldnt get my GTA VCS UMD to run on 1.5 with Devhook... Now I wish I upgraded ages ago as booting ISO's from the Game section is amazing Very Happy

And about the corrupt Icons, has anyone tried deleting that folder that has that small file in (Not the main file) of the homebrew program which makes the corrupt icon?? My PSP is 3 meters behind me and I just cant be arsed to reach over and getting it to try Wink..... Fook it, give my 10 mins and Ill have a go Smile

hhhmmm Now for a 4gig card Smile..

---edit--- Ok, that Idea didnt work Wink...

- Another way is to put them to the bottom by copying the folders over that gives the corrupt icon onto the memory stick first then copy the other folders over...

-Also another way is to put your 1.5 homebrew into the Game folder, load up that PSP Content Manager and select all corrupt icons to the bottom and then move the 1.5 homebrew backinto Game150 or what ever its called...

Hi all,

Following your glowing recommendations, I'd like to give this a whirl - just checking that this is compatibile with .cso? Or do I need to decompress stuff to .iso?

Cheers,
Statto
