Sure beats NFS:Carbon demo 90-10.

Missing the oversteer/understeer and other fast sliders, that were in GT Legends and GTR2, or didn't I just find them? My best time with keyboard in professional mode.

Screens look good. Can't go wrong with a game made by SimBin. Too bad that site with demo needs registration. If you got any mirrors please post.

edit: homepage with the demo: http://www.race-game.org/

After GTR1/2 and GTL I should agree, but because it is the first game made by the "new" Simbin, I still have to see it first. A lot of the people who made GTR1 & 2 and GTL have started there own company "Blimey games".

[edit] fist impression of the demo, not as polished as GTR2, just looks a little less good Wink But most important in a sim, the physics have not yet convinced me. I do not get enough feedback, but I will need some more laps and FFB tweaking to make a final judgement. [/edit]

You drive a Sim in cockpit view Wink , but there is one in my demo (believe page up and then with the numpad keys you can zoom in out)

Ahhh. Tnx for that info on Blimey, Markao. Still have not tried this demo, I will later this evening.

About the drivers/external view; I still don't understand how can you drive these games in external view, although I have a good friend that drives using a "swingman" cam, and he's not bad at it. If I'm playing a sim like this one I want to get the most realistic experience possible, which includes a realistic POV, not an external, ultra unrealistic view. So why are you (not directed at anyone specific) driving in external view? When I asked my friend the same question he replied that he likes to see the nice car he's driving in, and it helps him in judging the distance between the cars. To me driving/flying in external is just as bad as turning breaking/steering assist on.

I think you can tweak that to your liking, just like in former Simbin's titles.

do not count on a clone... the game uses steam for both single and multiplayer so all we're having is hopefully a bug free steamrip

The boxed version is out since Friday, theres nothing to wait on.

I have no idea why theres no proper release, it has been more than 2 days now. And according to Nforce, the NoGrip release is not even nuked...even though its appareantly not working.

The Nfo has over 11000 hits so theres obviously a demand for this game - wheres a proper release?
