While I can agree that Dicaprio's career did not start with the best movies, "Gangs of New York", "Catch Me If You Can", "The Aviator", and "The Departed" more than proves that he is a good actor.

Both 'What's Eating Gilbert Grape' and 'The Basketball Diaries' are over 10 years old, and both were well acted. Sometimes he's a little annoying, but he's always been a good actor.
