Not sure if this should go into the Movies or Games section, but felt it would get a more appropriate audience in this section, as it is after all, a gameplay movie, only much longer.
Great watch for fans of the series, recently released english version.

Well, when you have nothing else to play I really suggest that you download first gothic and give it a few hours.

i play it in WMP and the video is super stretched out horizontally like its ultra widescreen or somethin

Most females in the Gothic serie are quite oppressed such as the female slaves in the castle of Gothic 1 (The only females in G1 if I remember correctly) and the Hashishin slaves and dancers of Gothic 3.
Of little interest is that one could also patch the alpha channel of the female textures in G1 and G2 to remove the clothing completely and the player could also get laid in the G2 harbor district and the females in G3 aren't using proper underwear wich is obvious if you pan the camera slightly in Mora Sul's slave district.
(Ofcourse there's no detail when doing such things but that was quickly changed by various texture artists and modders)
Though you are correct in that it's a heavily man dominant world we see in the Gothic serie.

I don't know, but I did install the newest ffdshow very recently, and I'm using a Media Player Classic to play it.
