Looking for a new sound card, Currently using this Crap no named £5 thing...

Needs to be 5.1 or above and needs to be at Max £30...

Was looking at some used Creative Audigy 4's are they any good?

also, are the SOUND BLASTER AUDIGY 2 ZS any good as they are very cheap?

SOUND BLASTER AUDIGY 2 ZS is an OK card for the money...still 79 bucks. If you go for the latest with a bang, well then its the Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeMusic 7.1 Channels 24-bit 96KHz PCI Interface $92.99 at Newegg, or the X-Fi Platinum, but obviously comes at a pricey $178.99.
Personally I am using an old Audigy 2...cant complain, does the job + i almost always use headphones cause of the wife Wink. Though the Headphones are a pair of Steel (Sound)

My choice would be the Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeMusic add like 12 bucks from the ZS and you got a really good Scard...only my 2 cents.

been reading reviews and they say the any card from the Audigy line is good enough for nearly all gamers etc and that The X-Fi is mainly aimed at Home recording studio sort of people...

Plus I can get a Audigy 2 ZS for £18 compaired to the X-Fi which is £85!!!

If you want to try something different than Creative try the AuzenTech HDA X-Plosion 7.1. I got one and and will never go back to Creative. It is cheaper and better than any fo the top end X-Fi cards.
