The story is very generic, like most Fantasy. The game did have a pretty cool world and atmosphere.. I'd rather see a Elder Scrolls anime, it's far deeper with better lore.

Which is why an elder scrolls anime/tv show would be a terrible idea.

Wouldn't it be better as anime with all that lore? I'd love something like LotR, but the movies captured only a fraction of the source material. The same would happen with Elder Scrolls.

i think in many cases anime is a better idea unless the studio has an extremely high budget and at the same time can attract some decent actors... shitty CGI Argonian and Khajiit's for example, no thanks..

Cgi movie perhaps or well drawn one..but the majority of animes have some (atleast for me) anoying drawing/style.

And an Elder scrolls would exclude most of it's lore and focus on whatever you have there and then, and piss off most Elder Scrolls fans in the process. We've seen this before and no doubt not for the last time.

ION10 release appears to have subs but isn't 1080P :/

Watched 2 episodes, it's exactly what i had expected and it's very close to the game, so super generic fantasy (which is fine, sometimes i want that). Art is pretty decent i think. Voice acting isn't great (watching with English audio).

It was bad. There's barely any memorable story, it's just six simple episodes full of cliches about human sin, with one concluding episode. There is no worldbuilding, or any kind of building really. The main character is one-dimensional, boring and an asshole. The main hero seemed to be the pawn. The creatures looked really bad, the dragon for example.
Very basic, generic and simple anime. It also has the typical jap anime pre-school philosophy crap. 4/10
Something like The Dragon Prince pisses all over this.
