To consumers it will be released in January, but to developers, MSDN subscribers etc it will appear within the week.

Too bad that the Volume License Editions now also have the shitty activation. Let's see how long that will last untill Microsoft gets told by the big customers that the activation makes it much harder to deploy the OS, and the phone activation is a big nono for corporations.

All the different versions of Vista (Ultimate, Business, Home, etc) are on the same disc. What version you install is depending on the serial you use.

It means Windows Multilanguage User Interface and it's crap, you should always stick to one language, unless you really need a windows installation with more than one language.
And Parallax is right, all Windows Vista versions are on one DVD and the key you are using determines wich one is installed and if you have a volume license or not. There will not be a corporate version or anything. I think only the third world version of vista (basic?), the one with only 800x600 resolution support ships seperatly, at least that's what the guys from Microsoft told us at a recent conference.
