Honestly, i dont think every game deserves a 1, but i've noticed that some people continue to give every game a score of 1, constantly....
I do think that those people really should not be allowed to vote since they are ruining it for those who are seeking, well maybe not a GREAT game but an average game and use the rating for that purpose, they just get the wrong idea about the game from a stupid little F### that has absolutely nothing better to do than just give every game a rating of 1 and call it crap, even if the game HAS some potential.
No game deserves a 1, not even games that i don't like, like RPG games, i do rate those after what experience i've had but still don't like them.
Take away the voting rights for those who constantly vote 1, and let all the rest of us enjoy this amazing site and rating system.

It's true. The problem is that many are lame and stupid and only thinking on 1, 5 and 10. I think they first need to fix the voting first so it gets separated for the release itself and the product.

SO horribly true!
that voting feature could be so great!
instead its just pure crap!
people trym to make the score what THEY think and give min / max scores to balance them according to their opinion. That sucks!

i dont think anyone mis-interprets it as 1. being best and 10 worst. maybe if the scale was 1 to 3. voting is ruined on here most of the time, and most people dont even have the file yet before they vote but base it on the concept and if they like the buildups.

It's f00ked up.
If people don't like a certain genre or don't have any idea why they vote, then they shouldn't vote at all.
Just because you like FPS doesn't mean that you should give a racing game a 1 just because you don't like racing games.
And giving a vote without even seriously testing the game is ridiculous.
Maybe we should make certain people voters by giving them special rights to vote. This way not every moron can give his vote and we would have honest people giving votes.
Might this be a good idea? Having people that are chosen by the staff of NFOrce to give honest votes?

And those dudes who vote 1 and then say, stupid game or something when they are voting for a movie. Coming thats to obvious. They shouldn't be allowed to vote.

Should only let people with 100+ posts on the forum rate releases or something to stop people who don't really care about the quality of the ratings from voting.

thats all he ever votes on really. he has 300+ posts and i dont think he deserves it. mods should only let people active in each forum vote i.e 20 most active in the movie section 20 in the games 20 in the apps etc. or if thats too much just let the mods be selective.

its not just games though, movies have the same problem too.. "its too scary" "not enough violence" "no sex scene" blah blah. im still leaning towards being selective on who can vote. still its up to the mods to decide.
