i have one , mine is a UPS with a battery... basically its ab attery supply for ur computer orr whatever, its beiing recharged all the time and ur computer feeds off the battery so if even there is a HUGE spike in the power supply you computer is still feeding off pure clean energy and the ups takes all the hit... it even serves as a good source for saving ur stuff if power goes out.
