Delivering continuous skating action in a free-roaming living environment, Tony Hawk’s Project 8 incorporates the series’ most popular features, all of which have been enhanced with next-generation technology.

  • Features:
    Quote:
» Next Generation Gameplay Brings Skateboarding to Life: Tony Hawk’s Project 8 is built from the ground up with an entirely new engine for Sony and Microsoft next-generation consoles and features the most advanced graphics ever for a Tony Hawk game, including full 3D body scans of pro athletes and motion captured skateboard tricks. Gamers have the freedom to progress through the game in multiple ways and decide the type of pro skate they want to be.

» Picture-in-a-Picture” – Player can watch gameplay unfold on the main screen while observing the action on film in a superimposed video box.

»Movable Ramps and Rails throughout the city” – Place ramps and rails to set up amazing lines and/or gain access to secret spots.

»Enhanced Physics and Responsive Controls: The new physics system introduces advanced grinds and bails that allow players to control falls and minimize or maximize damage for fun with the innovative new ragdoll bail mode. A greater sense of momentum and gravity is impossible to miss, and provides the most realistic virtual skate experience ever.

Well is quite obvious you havent played it; or even looked into it for that matter.

This new Tony Hawk is amazing. I loved the demo, and the full version is even better. Some of the tricks you can pull off in focus or Nail the trick mode are insaine. I am so glad i can do rails and grabs in focus mode. At first i thought, well nail the trick mode is cool and all. But what about rails and grabs.

I bought it, and it was money well spent. The Gfx, Gameplay and overall polish of the game is superb. Highly recomened.

ah good news. only tried demo, but it was enough to convince me of a buy. or rather just traded my copy of pes6 for it. hope it arives in a few days.

how is the world itself? at ign they were complaining about the layout of it. from what i have seen it looks very cool. its like they have taken some of the funnier parts from previous series, like school, factory, suburbs, etc...

The layout is ok. I have only unlocked 3 different areas though. Im still getting orientated with the world. But it doesnt have the best flow to it. Its more just thrown together. But its still really fun, and there are some killer lines in the game.

cool. Smile

weird how different the reviewers are rating it. right now it lies in mid 80´s, due to two of them voting in the 70´s and two in the 90´s.

not like its that important in the end anyway.

Haha, that was great. So the "Technicaly" more powerful system (On paper anyways) has a worse frame rate. Hopefully this will shut up some Sony fanboys.

Why would a reviewer compare the finished 360 version to an unfinished PS3 version. ??

well i played ir for 5 mins now and first i went to the create option to make my own character, but i was shocked to see that there are almost no options to customize your character.

1. No facial hair
2. only 3 heads to choose from, not even customize your own head
3. not much clothing, only 5 pants or so.
4. no tatoos
5. no body customizing, scalling and that kind of stuff
6. not many assesoires

its just to sad to see that a good game like this one failes on a very importent point of the game, this part of the game was made in a hurry or so, or maybe the disc wass full and they needed to strip some things out of the game, realy realy sad to see.

it thought they knew by now that this is a important part of the game because with TH amarican wasteland you had way more options then is project 8.
