Just go to www.gamerankings.com and look at the reviews for one of the AAA titles (Half Life 2) and you will see a list of websites and journals that has reviewed the game in this case most major ones.

Squirrely: Now come on y'all. We can't waste time arguing. There could still be survivors out there. We need to hunt them down, and kill them.
Beary: How about we kill them, and then rape their bodies so we can use their blood as lubricant.

my favorite: gameguru mania -> www.ggmania.com
it has coverage of all recent or incoming game, plus in house reviews and their server hosts cheats and some other files.
It also has a regular tech news section which presents new apps, consoles, hardware, and fun stuff in a compact manner. Perfect with the morning coffee! Smile

Oh please, what's with all the IGN haters. Their reviews are no worse then Gamespots, and the summary IGN has at the end of the review is very useful. But it seems to be the "cool" thing to do right now, hate the popular site that the "unintelligent masses" go to, right?

Personally, I don't have a "favorite" review site. I think the best way by far is going to Gamerankings and checking out reviews from a whole bunch of different sites, so you get more then just one opinion.

I guess you must have missed the summary (eg. pros/cons) GameSpot has at the BEGINNING of their review. Not to mention GameSpot has video reviews, on the spot, and other cool video features.

IGN is just lame, and their reviews aren't that accurate.

Well, IGN has video reviews too, but the gamespot video reviews are better.

As far as review accuracy goes, both have their flaws. IGN tends to overrate hyped games while gamespot likes to underrate games from smaller developers.

No, I have seen Gamespots "summary", I just find it is less informative then IGN's. IGN gives a short paragraph on all important elements of the game. While Gamespot gives 2 sentences describing the pros and cons.
I also prefer IGN because I usually agree with their reviews more then Gamespots. Take for example both sites review of the new Legend of Zelda for the Wii. AMAZING game! IGN agreed and gave it a 9.5. Gamespot gave it a........8.8!!! Come on! The same score they gave NCAA Football 07?? But If you agree with them thats fine, I just find they are WAY off sometimes.
