So there's an update for the firmware that will be available from day one. I get the feeling the firmware it comes with is vulnerable to modding, kind of like the early PSPs. Anyone else get this feeling or am I a fool? Surprised

Not much point in speculating, but It looks like they are going for a completely different approach to security, especially seen as they're happy to release a version of Linux for it, suicidal unless they know something we don't.

Though, if games are going to be in the 30gig area, it'll be friggin cheaper to buy games with my internet speed.

The smart move that console manufacturers don't realise is that making the first version easily hackable is the best thing you can do, release your hack proof mandatory upgrades once you have a large user base.
