Cant seem to get the exp to run.. I have the original installed, has the rld-fepb mounted and installed .. copied the crack contents to the appropriate directories overriding the originals. start up the FEARXP.exe and black screen.. alt+tab shows error box "failed to initialize - unknown error".
what could be the issue? do all cds/images have to be mounted to play? do i need some other app to run while I try to load this expansion.. i.e. Securom, blacklisting shit etc..??
thanks

Install the game, install the patch 1.7, install XP, apply 1.7 FEAR crack and 1.0 XP crack. There is no need to mount anything, because the cracks are proper.

ASUS A7N8X MB
1.5 GB DDR400
ATI RADEON 9800 PRO 128MB w/ 6.2 drivers
200 GB HDD IDE
Windows XP PRO SP2 .. all updates
dont have any overclock apps running.. other then BIOS OC. no issues with stability... 100% uptime 24/7.
I'll try the latest drivers.. from ATI to see if that works.
