I wouldn't shell out that money. Getting 2x8800GTX for SLi sure sounds impressive but I doubt it is necessary.. Damn I'm on one 7800GT still and I can run all games to date on pretty decent settings.

Seems like you should get a little more then 2gb ram. Otherwise pretty nice, bit waste of money though if you relise that in a year max it would cost half of the price you paid.

Well that's the joys of pc'ing Macknu. I get a new pc on average every 18 months. Although right now I'm waiting for the dx 10's to become mainstream before I upgrade next.

Nice system btw. Although it is a waste getting 2 8800's but I'll expect it's for e dick wagging. Not that that's a criticism mind you. It's always nice to talk about your new pc online.

Good to be proud of something, iv just bought new hardware, but not that great, but at least i can play SC:DA without any lag and with the next gen setting.

Think im gonna buy something like RizL4 rig in may/june next year. Nothing I can't play with my 6600GT 256 PCI-E and AMD 3700+ yet.

Nice rig! Suprised on spending so much on the new DirectX 10 line however, expecting to see prices drop to a reasonable amount for them when ATI gets a card out and there all 1st generation. Oh, and the URL for one ofthe last two pictures is:

http://img394.imageshack.us/my.php?image=tehb34sthj7.jpg

The forum must have chopped of the "image=" part, alas it doesn't work for the other image as it must have also cropped some of the filename when it added as elipsis.

How much did you pay for it?

I enjoy computers and such but sometimes, the money some of the people on here pay for things blows my mind. Why spend so much on a computer? There are plenty of things to spend your money on that is more valuable.

When I was young, all the money I had i spent on women Laughing in retrospect, it was dumb, but worth it none the less.

Rolling Eyes Laughing

Are you one of those women who spends guy's money? Like they think its their right to spend a guy's money?

My exwife/girlfriend is like that. Not nearly as bad now, but still. She'll go blow $200-$300 on clothes and knick knacks and flip on me if I buy a videogame or anything electronic (cd, movie, shit for the computer etc). She says its not 'important'...but her clothes are because she needs to look good for me Rolling Eyes ....she could walk around dressed like a bum and i'd still love her you know? I dont care how she dresses. I swear its an excuse

If your like that too...then watch out Laughing
