A lot of the core team from TA is still involved in the development for this new TRIBES game, especially on the maps and physics side. I don’t know an exact percentage but the studio is extremely excited about this one, we have a lot of the OG folks who were involved from before.
Only played Tribes:Ascent but really liked it. As far as I remember most Tribes fans complained a lot from it which might be why it got plugged off.
Don't know if these old-school "one shot - one kill" shooters have a ground these days, when kids cry after getting insta-killed.
I reckon they're also very competitive

The screenshots don't look too awesome but if it's anything like the original games.. they were great, even though I sucked at them

Or worst like Tribes:Ascend, we called it Tribes:Aspen. As it was ALL about skiing around, they took a quirk of tribes 1 and made the whole game about that.
If they made it like old school Tribes 1, with shifter and renegade. I will be all over it.
