Ive installed Windows Xp sp2 Nov ETHO on 3 machines recently and all 3 have suffered the same strange effect.

What happens is once u install the OS and setup whatever you need . Well once reboot your user account loses its Admin Rights and after quick scan using EWIDO and NOD32 there is alot of spyware and trojan with this release. Ive fixed it now but im curious to what this virus or spyware actully is called and if there is adirect removal tool to stop this in future.

Personally, I wouldn't trust your WinXP Sp2 with bargepole. I bet you a dollar there is still spyware on your system, or at least a back door. You are taking a huge risk. Nuke it, and get a proper copy of Win XP, and use Nlite to Slipstream SP2 and all the available security updates. This was you know your getting the real deal.

Nuke it.
