Excellent quality and sound.

Looks like a great film.

I'll report more once I've got it all.

Very Happy

Good film, not great. If you're into war films then this is a so so. It may be a tad slow for you. It's more a drive for war bonds than anything.

Actually the racism in this film is starting to grate on me.

Looking forward to seeing the awards screener for it's companion film "Letters from Iwo Jima" which is told from the Japanese side of things.

Yeah, it was pretty boring most of the time. Would've expected more from Eastwood. 4/10

Rather over-rated but that tends to happen with 'epic' films with big names behind them. I would give it a 5/10 since there is very little new ground covered here. I mean mowing down soldiers in horrific ways for about two hours is one way to get people emotional (not to mention rave reviews), but most of the scenes in the movie are indistinguishable from Saving Private Ryan.
 Spoiler:

"The film was shipped to theaters under the code-name "Montana". Also, the first reel was shipped separately from the other seven to further prevent piracy." - source http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0418689/trivia Razz
