Me and my best Bud were comparing systems to see how they ran dealing with frame rates of games....Here's our systems

Bud's - AMD 64X2 4400
2 Gigs Ram
2 GeForce 6600GTs iin SLI

Mine - AMD 64X2 3800
2 Gigs Ram
GeForce 7800GT

When we ran Half-life 2, I ran it in 1280x1024 With 4xAA w/VSynce.....and was puuling around 25-30 FPS....He ran it at a HIGHER Resolution with 8XAA w/VSynce and was not getting anything less then 29 FPS....

Does this sound right?....Is his SLI setup really that much better then mine?....Just curious and thanks in advance for your opinions...Smile

lol i run hl2 with 9800 pro 1280/1024 2*aa 30-50 fps on p4 3ghz 1 gig ram vsync=off
try other drivers

I have to agree with Eliz. When I play css with everything turned on I get 110 fps/ Something sounds seriously wrong with your two systems.

Solved this problem...Bought a GeForce 8800 GTS.....Now pulling 60-80 fps with everything maxed out at 1240 x 1024 with HDR....in the outdoors!...Smile
