Are there any more realistic CQB-games other than the first Rainbow Six-games, and that SWAT-game? I always enjoyed the tactical aspect of Rainbow Six (although the A.I. was... well, so-so) but didn't appreciate the dumbed down versions in Vegas 1&2.

Any recommendations for the first-person genre?

I don't think there is, and is there anything like that on the Horizon? I don't know.

Rogue Spear got me to play online, I still remember asking myself what could be fun about it, I was going online because I was bored so out of my mind, I thought I could last not longer than 10 minutes before I'd never do it again.

Wish I never did, I'd prolly have a black belt in Karate now or something Razz

Right now, for me, the only thing that gives me a remote feeling like this is CoD IV on Hardcore, in most modes. You should try finding some servers that enforce realism, there are a plenty. It makes the game really slow paced, exactly what you need.

You could try Opertion Reality for BF2, reinstalled it the other day with the new 0.85 release. Google it, client is 1.8 gb and maps are 1.5 gb. It can be very tactical.

My last bet would be ARMA, with plenty of mods this can be quite good. I must agree that the netcode feels about dodgy when moving around objects, or in them, like with BF2, but worse.

Goodluck finding something, if you do, I'd like to know it, cause I'll try it Smile
