well yeh id guess it would seem silly to some.
but then again this sport is way out of your reach as it involves years of practice if you have the talent.
extreme presicsion and hand to eye co-ordination. i mean yur constantly throwing a knitting needle into something the width of a cigarette filter from 7ft 9 1/4. time after time.
oh yeh and it involves no game pads. and most importantly you have to leave the house.
so i dont expect you to appriciate it m8.
get back to your forum stalking n chat rooms or whatever you poindexters do .
this is a game for the fan and the gamer.
and if you can tell me another pc game that lets you devise your own technique and throwin style so every player is diffrent ill delete this post and no more said ill list some examples so u dont throw BS at me
FIFA 01/02/03/04/05/06/07 All scripts all bugs same goals same passes everyone does the same.
Pes 4/5/6 still the best footy game ever. but still every move shot pass and tackle. is performed the same way ie certain timing .
Tiger Woods Same rythym n power you ll hit the sweet spot.

Yeah it does seem silly, comparing a game to the real thing. I've just been playing battlefield 2 and guess what I wasn't at all scared. But in a real war, well I'd probably be bricking it.
Years of what type of pracitce, picking up a pint and having a cigarette? |

Jesus.
Look, darts has technique and so on but lets not get carried away. It's like kick ups with a piece of rolled up paper - with practice you can master it but at the end of the day we aren't talking about climbing the Alps or the maintaining the fitness levels of an athlete and competing at the highest level.
Not to slight the game though, but lets not extend into hyperbole. You obviously have enthusiasm for the sport but I could get similar enthusiasm from a Warhammer 40k fanboy and it still wouldn't change naysayers minds.
As for the video game, it looks worth a try at least.

It's hardly a new genre, there have been darts games for years.
Funny how the game must look so bad, they don't dare to show any ingame screen in their trailer.
