When I use the false image it doesn't work. I patched the game. (otherwise you can't play it)
Even with YASU 1.04 or Prot.stop 1.00.
What should I do to play without the DVD? There isn't any crack for later versions.

try pulling the plug on your dvd player rather than just using the disable option (but then again, perhaps thats what you did??)

I'm using DT 4.08 with protstop1.0 and securom loader here, works fine.

I'll try, but my DVD is internal, so well hum...
Parallax, I didn't know we need to use both securom and protstop. This one is pretty obvious to use, but how do we use securom?

@naok
Do you have CloneCD,Blindwrite,Alcohol or any other similar programs installed?
Also try with ALL IDE dvd drives unplugged and without 3rd party tools, only Daemon Tools
Make sure RMPS emulation is enabled

Yep, I am using the latest (1.03 + hotfix). I have the image mounted in DT, then I run protstop to hide the devices, then I run securom loader (in root dir, renamed to asdf.exe) and choose the nwn2main_amdxp.exe file (or you should use nwn2main.exe if you got Intel, I think).

I tried everything but this won't work. I have a message like "the security module can't be activated. This program can't run" most of the times... well nevermind, I will simply play at another game. Thank you for your help.

Actually, KrayZJool is right, I tried the Poseden_maxi_nwn2 from copyworld and it worked excellent unlike the 6gb ones.

I tried it also you bet. Can anyone all simply make a new crack for newer versions? The fixed exe 1.00 works pretty fine as a no-DVD.

Mounting is sometimes better - especially in this case as it autoupdate.

In this case it is alot better, as it is a really buggy game which still needs fixes.

I didn't mount it with DT to install it but with Alcohol120, maybe that's it. Did you hide the drives when you installed it?

That's probably it, Naok. No need to hide any drives when installing, though.

OMG it works! I'll try to update now, let's hope it works as well! Thank you all for your support, I didn't know one needed to install it with DT also, it was told nowhere...
EDIT: it was an OLD version of Alcohol120... now i think I understand better how protections work.
EDIT2: shit...it doesn't work with the last update, even with the 6GB image. Well what now?

@ naok
I thought you might have an old version of a virtual drive program, that's why I was asking you for more info about your installed programs.
Next time try to follow advice properly please ... (and give more infos)

its a fun game, but i wouldn't pay money for it since they just rushed it out way way way too fast and it's still buggy as hell, up2u tho... maybe multiplayer is worth it, no idea

Well anyway don't bother with this case, it is hopeless. Plus I played again where I stopped, and that reminds me why I stopped: the game sucks. 2 dragons and/or 1 daemon, you have the choice to skip them but this is not a choice as they are invincible... so frustrating nut shit. Not mentionning the bugs and stupidities I'm not even sure disappeared with the patches, anyway I wouldn't be the guy with no internet connection and no patches.
the end.
