I'm going to buy a new laptop soon , the (LG - W1 Pro dual Series)... and it comes equipped with an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor ~ T5600 (1.83GHz), 667MHz FSB, 2MB L2 Cache , 2048 DDR2 667MHz, Dual Channel Support Memory , and an ATI® Mobility Radeon X1600 with a 512MB of video memory.
My question is : will this laptop run powerfull games like Doom 3 , Half Life 2 , Far Cry and whatever at maximum settings ? is it capable of running these games at full "max" ? , and future games too ? or should i order more RAM with it ? becuase the X1600 512MB is the last video upgrade i can get...
I've been a desktop PC gamer for years , but now i work and live away from home... in the middle east , so please don't suggest getting a powerful desktop , or any other gaming laptops , because i have to stay mobile a lot these days , and because i'm an ATi guy , i'm not a big fan of Nvidia , and really the LG - W1 17" laptop is the best choice available here , so please tell me what do you all think...
Thanks in advance

well , i read the data/specification sheet for this laptop again , and it said something like :
"ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 (128MB dedicated, 512MB HyperMemory)"
what is that exactly ? i want the whole 512MB to be dedicted! please explain what this means to me.
