I need help identifying a game i played about 1-2 years ago. I only played the demo, and i can't remember the name of it. It was a WWII RTS. In the demo, you played as the yanks on D-day, and the game had literally hundreds of soldiers on the screen at the same time, due to them being very small. Even on max zoom, the soldiers were only a few millimeters. It still looked pretty good though. You could call in airstrikes and paratroopers and shit too. I think it was a Russian game. I don't know whatever happened to it, if it got released or what. Does anyone know what game i'm talking about?

i remember sudden strike or maybe sudden strike 2 sounded familiar to this.
Blitzkrieg is also very similar to sudden strike

Wasn't this D-Day from Digital Reality?
http://www.gamespot.com/pc/strategy/dday/index.html
Either this or Desert Rats vs. Afrika Korps from the same devs.
If yes it is Hungarian. I finished it but it was really a pain to micromanage unresponsive infantry units, ugly level design, etc.

It wasn't D-day by Digital Reality. If i remember correctly the game wasn't just limited to the normandy landings (which was the only level in the demo), but it encompassed the entire war, and you could play as any side. In the description of the demo it said that in the full game you would start off as a platoon leader, and as the game progressed you would get promoted until you commanded an entire dvision, with all its troops visible on the screen at once.

There was a game called Normandia but I dont think thats the game you are looking for even though you had the map of the entire France to mess around with...
